Thornberg & Forester Writes, Shoots and Directs New Campaign for FXCM Client
Thornberg & Forester is excited to share these three new spots that they directed, shot and wrote for their client FXCM inc. (NYSE:FXCM ) www.fxcm.com/prhome an online provider of forex trading and related services worldwide.
Thornberg & Forester was asked to help explain the benefits of FXCM to three very different potential traders. When tasked by FXCM to do the difficult job of producing three separate ads for three separate target markets, Thornberg & Forester was able to save both time and money by working directly with the client to provide a seamless production from start to finish.
In the first campaign spot that is aimed at traders, “ForexNever Sleeps”, we see a table full of traders who, one by one, start to pack up their computers and heading home at 4pm when the stock market closes, until only the Forex trader remains. This ad proves that, unlike the stock market, Forex does not sleep. The second spot, “Who Are You Trading With”, uses a shady currency transaction to point out the benefits of using FXCM, a brokerage firm that makes transparency one of its core values. The final spot, “Jargon”, shows how FXCM provides an environment free of noise.
FXCM' offers its clients the unique advantage of no dealing desk forex execution and when they decided to create a new television campaign to highlight the benefits of their services, they wanted a new kind of marketing partner who would understand how to best tell their exceptional story. They needed a partner that was capable of showing all three versions of the FXCM story in the most cost efficient and time efficient way. So they turned to Thornberg & Forester and trusted that their long history of working with financial clients and their years of production experience would allow them to creatively tell three separate stories to three different targets. Thornberg & Forester is a multidisciplinary creative company that has produced campaigns for many financial clients including eTrade, Fidelity and Powershares, but this is the first time that they have worked directly with a financial client and served as the creative agency from start to finish.
